I have a problem. I have a project in scorm but the original project in adobe captivate is lost. Is there a way to import my SCORM into an adobe captivate project so I can edit it?

Unfortunately, this looks like it may be a recreate situation. I have been there with other software, and I can only imagine what it will feel like with Captivate.

But look at it this way, it gives you an opportunity to refresh the material and make it feel like new again.

Maybe a silver lining?

No, sorry, there is no way to recover the raw cptx file from a published output folder. You don’t even specify if you talk about SWF output – which was the standard for many years  – or HTML output. Since it is a SCO, you probably have a lot of interactivity and maybe scored slides/objects. The workaround to create a video file by using Video Demo to capture the played output is not an option, since you would lose all interactivity in a passive mp4 file which is the result of a Video Demo (cpvc) project.
