How to create a survey with fill in the blank question in Adobe Captivate also active and inactive slide issue

Hi, I’m trying to create a slide that has a fill in the blank question as a survey. I’m asking to fill in their name, as a practice for learning Spanish and I want an audio to play at the end. I have found that there is an active and inactive button at the end of my slide I don’t seem to be able to get rid of. The audio doesn’t play at the end and the answer doesn’t seem to do anything. Can anybody help? I’m new to Adobe Captivate. It would be amazing if the slide could read the name and say Hello name, not sure if that is possible. Many thanks

No, Captivate will not be able to say the name. I don’t know why you are using a FIB quiz slide for this purpose?

Use a Text Entry Box, the name will be stored in the associated user variable. You can insert that variable in any text container in Captivate after the TEB has been filled in. Have a look at this basic blog post about TEBs:
