Hello,
I am relatively new to Captivate 2019 and am having issues with using the Learning Interactions published to HTML5. I am able to view the interactions in preview, but when published I get a blank white screen and the widgets require downloading.
To test this out, I added the accordion interaction to one slide and the button interaction to another, plus a ‘next’ button. No changes to the content, formatting, etc. for either interaction. Very straight-forward.
I am working on a Windows machine, Chrome and/or Edge. Captivate info: 2019 11.5.5.553.
Are there specific settings/requirements for the learning interactions to work in HTML5?
What other information can I provide?
Thanks,
Terry
Not sure to understand: ….’I extracted the zipped files to or AEM DAM and published’? What did you extract, you don’t need to extract anything before publishing to HTML. If you published with Reporting turned on you get a zipped folder as output folder. That folder needs to be uploaded to a LMS which is SCORM compliant. Is that the case for ‘AEM DAM’? I don’t know if that is a webserver or a LMS.
When I chose Publish, I checked the box for zip files, which create a zipped package of all files pertaining to the project: index.html, project.txt, goodbye.html and folders: ar, assets, callees, dr, vr, wr. Without the zip file I would have to create the folders inside the DAM which causes a problem with the capitalization of some of the subfolders. I am not publishing with reporting.
Where I publish these asset is to a webserver.
Thanks,
Terry
Did you upload the published folder to a webserver or a LMS (if you created a SCO)? That is necessary to see the real output for several learning interactions. Accordion is a pretty old interaction, but should work when viewing on a webserver. Do not watch locally.
