Captivate 9 audio missing after publishing
Hi,
I recently got a new laptop and downloaded Captivate 9. We have existing Captivate 9 files at work, and when i go to edit the audio on an existing project, the audio doesn’t publish to the slide. The audio is clearly there, but for some reason its not publishing on the video. It will make other slides that i didn’t edit, all of a sudden stop publishing the audio as well. There is also a delay when i go to record, I will click the “record” button and it will cut off the first word i say in the audio.
I’ve tried un-installing, re-installing, clearing cache, etc. Still not working properly.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you are using Captivate 9, there were several updates during its lifecycle. Make sure you are using the most up-to-date release. Click on Help and then Check for Updates.
I don’t think you are using version 9 which is old. Can you check the full version number under Help, About Captivate. Can you please post the correct version number?
Which type of audio do you use: slide audio, object audio or audio started with ‘Play audio’? You can record to slides and to objects.
