Hello, is there any way to publish a Captivate lesson in HTML5 without javascript? In other words, can Captivate produce a pure HTML5 product, or does there have to be .js files in the bundle? Thank you!

Interactivity in Captivate will be realized by JS, as is common to all webpages. Pure HTML doesn’t allow interactivity, CSS increases the design functionality but could be realized in HTML but interactivity AFAIK can never be realized in pure HTML. Of course I may be wrong, please clarify if you want interactivity or not?
