Feedback on my project – automatically moving forward

Hi all,

I’m trying to share my first project so I can get feedback and help on it.

The part I’m wanting help with is the true/false question at the very end. When the user clicks either true or false, it automatically moves them forward to their certificate of completion. How do I get it to NOT move forward until they’ve selected the correct answer and read the feedback? (I.e. click the play button to move forward like the other slides).

What I prefer to do is to hide the navigation controls. Click on the Project dropdown menu and select Skin Editor. Uncheck Show Playback Control. Now, you want to add a Continue button on this slide that only appears when the user has clicked on submit and received feedback. This way, they will not be able to skip past this interaction. There is likely an advanced action on the submit button (I can’t seem to download this project file from the assets store right now. Add an action to SHOW the button you created. Give the button a name like slide01_button so it’s easy to find when writing your updated advanced action.

I decided to make this topic into a video. This won’t be published until later in September, but eLearning community members can enjoy it today: https://youtu.be/FTrvJUytUa0
