Captivate SCORM reporting issue with Peoplefluent LMS

I am using Adobe Captivate 2019 and exported zip files as HTML5 only with SCORM 1.2.

It is strange that some modules work well, and some don’t with the same quiz settings.

The one does not work in Netdimensions (PeopleFluent) works well in another LMS before as well as in Live Preview.

For example, I got zero score when answered 3 of out 5 questions correctly which should be 60%.

Any ideas with this kind issues are very appreciated.

Please set the Required field back to the default ‘Optional’. Since you hide the playbar during quiz, the only way to proceed for the learner is to answer each question.

I always activate Backwards movement, without showing a Back button. Maybe it is not necessary for you, and will not solve the problem, just a tip.

BTW you didn’t post twice, sometimes this site can be quirky.

Thanks a lot. I will follow your advice to revise my module and see how it works.

I’ll report back when the issue solved. Thank you again Lieve.

Thank you Lieve,

I replied to this thread but seems not showed. Sorry if I posted it twice here.

I have updated to 11.8.1 now and not sure about the version when I developed the module a year ago.

  1. I tried to test the output in SCORM Cloud and no lucky to be successful no matter the module works well or not.
  2. I attached two photos to show the quiz setting and I didn’t change the field next to ‘Required’
  3. I did add a thank you slide after the Quiz Results slide.

We have more than 200 modules developed in Captivate and only few not work well with the new LMS. This is a big puzzle to me now.

I have to tell that I never used that particular LMS myself, can only give you some tips.

It may also help if you mention the full version number as can be found under Help, About Captivate. Especially for CP2019 which had 3 main releases (11.0, 11.5 and 11.8) and multiple patch releases.

First tip: you need to be sure that the problem is due to Captivate, not to the LMS. Best way is to test the output in SCORM Cloud. If it works fine there, you need to find the solution with the LMS people.

Second tip: the SCORM version you use normally works on all LMSs, but could you insert a screenshot of the Reporting under Quiz Preferences? How did you set up the criteria? Did you change the field next to ‘Required’?

Third tip: did you add an extra slide after the Results slide? That way you’ll be sure that the results have been transmitted, because the actions specified under Pass/Fail in Quiz Preferences are executed after clicking the Continue button, at the end of the results slide (last frame).
