Hi Everyone,

I have been in the L&D world for 10+years now,  and have some experience using iSpring & Articulate.
I want to grow my authoring and e-learning skills and just looking if anyone has any tips & tricks of where to get started with Adobe – it is a bit of a mind field!

Any advice is much appreciated

Cheryl

There are a lot of tutorials everywhere, including this platform.  Personally quite a while ago I wrote this blog post, based on my experience both on social media and during the many trainings I offered both F2F and online, to point to the main hurdles for starting users of Captivate:

For each of those 3 challenges, I have published tens of articles. You can add ‘Fluid Boxes’ responsive projects as fourth challenge, but do not start with it before having a basic knowledge about the first 3 challenges.

iSpring is essentially a PPT plugin, Articulate uses UI similar to MS. You’ll find the workflows quite different in Captivate. To me personally Captivate is the most versatile, multifeatured authoring tool but not the easiest one. I love also roundtripping with other Adobe tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition…
