360-degree video creation
(5)

Hi there! My current project requires creating a 360-degree video for a machinery course. Any suggestions for the right tools that can help me design an effective 360-degree video for such technical courses? Need them to be high-resolution videos with zoom in and out functionality.

Hi there. That’s a task I must say. With 360-degree videos, the main issue that I faced was the dark zones which weren’t captured well by the camera. They lead to dead ends for the users. Ensure that the videos are captured really well.

Hey! Try your hands on Adobe Premiere Pro and VR Comp Editor in After Effects. Work really well. You can also edit stitched-together footage without a headset using VR mode in Premiere Pro.

Oh! 360-degree videos? And why would you need them? Just curious!

We use GoPro MAX. While it’s primarily marketed as an action camera, it can capture impressive 360-degree footage and offers the zoom-in and out feature you’re looking for. It supports post-processing and stitching software to edit and combine footage from multiple angles seamlessly. Don’t forget to use a tripod or stabilizer to minimize camera shake and ensure smooth playback. Best of luck with your machinery course curriculum!
