Can the new Captivate also publish directly to mp4 format, like with Captivate Classic?

Thank you for your query.
I would like to inform you that the new version of Adobe Captivate currently does not include an option to publish courses as MP4. For this functionality, I recommend using Captivate Classic, as both versions are available under a single subscription.

Hi, if we purchase the individual subscription can we load the app on both a PC and MAC?
You can install Captivate Classic (old 2019) 2 times + the new Captivate 2 times (so 4 installs in total, 2 of each app). This can be one install on Windows and another one on Mac or any other combination. Hope it answers your question…
So what is “new” in this update in terms of features?
New features include (from the top of my head, there are certainly a lot more than this list):
- New, re-designed and simplified workflows for almost every aspects of Captivate
- Design Options
- Improved feedback messages for Question Slides (using states)
- Brand new Interactions Inspector that simplifies the development of actions in CP
- Responsive by default
- A new HTML5-powered “Preview” mechanism (VS the Flash-based preview of Cp 2019)
- New interactive components (Drop down menu, Radio Buttons, Checkboxes).
- Revamped interactive widgets
- New Closed Captioning workflow
- Etc…

Last week I downloaded it to my Macbook Pro, and uploaded my OS to Venture, and yet have never been able to open the trial software. It shuts down / closes on me every time I try to start a new project. So, sadly, I won’t be giving it a try.
