Multiple choice issue

Hi!

When I preview and get to the multiple choice slide I get the grayed out screen and the error message, “Something went wrong!” I have tried starting preview from the start, the slide before, and the actual slide and it always comes up as something is wrong. What should I do or who do I contact about this?

To give you a helpful answer, I need some more information:

  • Which version of Captivate are you using: Classic or the new version 12? You find the version number under Help, About Captivate.
  • Are you on Mac or Windows?
  • If it is Classic Captivate: did you edit anything on the quiz slide (except question and answer texts) or the quizzing master slide? Such a slide has a lot of embedded objects (they have no individual timeline) with inbuilt functionality. Deleting one of them can create problems.
  • Is it a Knowledge Check or a scored question slide?
