I have been using Captivate for years, but recently got a new computer and my work updated me to the latest version. Our primary use for Captivate requires us to publish as MP4, but I can’t find that option. Is that no longer an option with the new Captivate?

That is very logical since version 12 only creates responsive projects. A static, non interactive MP4 needs a non-responsive project to start with.
The ‘new’ version is missing a lot of features, which you have in the version Captivate Classic (11.8.2). Publishing to MP4 is one of them. Main reason is that the new version can only create responsive projects, and publishing to mp4 needs a non-responsive project.
You are entitle to use Captivate Classic along with the new version on the same license, sort of compensation for the still missing features in version 12. I recommend you to install this version and you’ll have the possibility to create non-responsive projects with publishing to MP4 back in that version.
