We can auto retire a course, learning path and certification without manually retiring the trainings.

For that we need to enable a setting called ‘Auto retire’ under General settings.

1. Login as admin and navibate to General >>Auto retire as below and enable it :

2. Now as a author while creating the course, we can select the date on which we need the course to auto-retire :

3. The course will be auto retired on the selected date.

4. If we have set the auto retire as Jan 30 and set the completion date at instance level as Jan 15th, then the instance will be auto-retired :

If there is only one instance, that instance is retired, then course will also be auto-retired. However, if we have multiple instances, only this instance will be retired first and then the whole course will be auto-retired on Jan 30 as we have selected the auto retire as Jan 30 for the course.
