While working on Adobe Captivate, can I pull images from Adobe Stock directly? Will I need a separate subscription for Adobe Stock?

It depends on the version you are using. The Assets library both in the New version and version 11.5 and 11.8 has several Adobe Stock images, but you don’t have the freedom to edit a lot. For free choice in the Stock Library you’ll need to buy a subscription. Several Quick Start Projects in both versions also have used stock images. If you are on version 11.5 or 11.8 they are in the Project Library of those projects.  You can open that Library as an external library in any new project and use those assets. Too bad, that is no longer possible in the New version 12 because projects have no project library nor external libraries. A real important missing feature. Have a look at this older blog:

FYI; I used Adobe Stock images in this blog post.

Hey!  Yes, you will need a separate subscription for Adobe Stock as the Adobe Captivate subscription doesn’t include any other Adobe product. You will have to download the images from Adobe Stock on your system to use them in Adobe Captivate. Adobe Captivate also has a built-in Asset library with a range of multimedia options for images, characters, videos, background audio, and slide templates. The Asset Library can be found at the bottom end of the left navigation panel as highlighted.
