Adobe Captivate V12.2 (latest one), Can a YouTube video have subtitles

Hello All,

I am starting to use Adobe Captivate the latest version now and I have added a YouTube video into a slide. I added a web link in the “insert video from web” option and added a YouTube URL. The video has inserted nicely. However, I noticed there is no option for subtitles (or CC). I am trying to find a way to include subtitles for students who have hearing difficulties (completely deaf to intermediate hearing).

I have attached a screenshot of the video in preview mode, and as you can see there are options for closed captions, but when you click on them, nothing happens.

Does anyone know a way to add subtitles into the video.

Thanks for any help !

Nick

Adding Subtitles (CC) is available only for slide video. Which slide template did you use to insert that video?
