To facilitate this, Adobe Learning Manager(ALM) LMS offers a valuable feature: to enable automatic Outlook reminders for virtual sessions created within the ALM LMS. These reminders are set to trigger 15 minutes before the start of scheduled meetings or sessions, ensuring participants are promptly notified and prepared. Reminders in outlook for classroom and virtual sessions
Classroom and Virtual Classroom sessions created from Adobe Learning Manager that have been added to the learner’s Outlook calendar will now support reminders from Outlook consistently (similar to meeting reminders in Outlook).
How to enable this feature for courses of ALM:
The flag to enable this is currently not available directly from user interface or applied by default on all accounts so you can contact ALM Support (learningmanagersupport@adobe.com)/CSAMs to enable this from backend.
Points to note
- After enabling this feature, the reminders will be sent only for newly created virtual sessions and not for sessions that are already setup.
- Workaround for older sessions: If you still wish to have 15 mins reminder for older/already created virtual sessions then it requires minor edits on the session (for example: edit session time to 5 minutes more or less) so the new invite will include the
