Problem Statement:

Cannot see the full control option while sharing the catalog!! How to enable full control of shared catalog?

Role: Admin.

Brief Description:
There are cases where admin users want to provide full control of shared catalog to administrator of the external organization. However, they do not see an option to enable full control.

This article explains about how an admin request full control option for catalog sharing
Also, provide full control of shared catalog to administrator of the external organization.

Steps to be carried out by the administrator provide full control.

1. By design, administrator will not see the full control option in their account. they need to get this option enabled by writing to learningmanagersupport@adobe.com.

Note:
This is a onetime request, this will be enabled at the account level.
Ensure you mention your adobe learning manager account ID while writing to learningmanagersupport@adobe.com. (Account Id can be seen in the URL when you log in to account).

2. Once the feature is enabled for the account, you can open the catalog and click on share externally (another ALM account).

3. In the option Catalog Control, toggle the button to allow full control of the catalog to external users.

When you allow full catalog control, the administrator of the external organization accepts the request to allow modifications to the catalog. The author of the external organization then can edit the courses or add modules.
