Certification not showing the updated content!! / Is it possible to update the content associated with the recurring certification in ALM?

Brief Description:
There are cases where author users update the course content or modules associated with the recurring certification and sees that the certification not showing the updated content when they login as learner.

This article explains about when the certification shows the updated content to the learners.

Here is what happens to when you update the content associated with the recurring certification

In ALM, one can update the modules or contents associated with the courses and the learners can see the update contents when they launch the course.

In recurring certification workflow – When certification recurs, the courses associated with parent certification are autogenerated and we cannot make any changes to autogenerated courses.

However, if required author can update content for the associated original course. The updated content will not be shown to the existing or current certification. The updates made at original course or updated content will be shown when the current certification recurs (users being enrolled in the next child will be able see the updates)
