Captivate, Remediation, Quiz, Wrong Answer
I am creating a new training package with a quiz/knowledge check at the end and followed All-New Adobe Captivate Quiz Remediation – eLearning which works great. My only issue is that whenever the learner gets the question wrong they are sent every time to the remediation slide (that shows the answer) meaning that when they return to the quiz and get the question wrong again , they are taken back to the remediation slide and the process continues until they get it correct.
This ultimately, means that they score 100% on the quiz, meaning they pass because they cannot continue until they get the question correct (good for my stats, but not good that they are actually learning something).
I have searched the learning hub/discussion forums, but cannot find anything to assist. Ideally, I would like to have them sent to the remediation slide only once before returning to the quiz to try the question again. If they get it wrong it would be counted in the score, meaning they could fail the course.
It is exactly what has been asked here Does quiz remediation allow failure? – Adobe Community – 5374398 I am using the Captivate 12, and cannot find a workaround.
Appreciate your time assisting with this.
Kind regards
garryn2110 It is a designed workflow in-case you are looking to create an attempt based training I would suggest using the standard workflow to create the quiz and provide certain attempt to complete the quiz. We understand it is a limitation and would be great if you can submit the enhancement request here (https://captivate.uservoice.com/forums/939318-adobe-captivate)
You are not really offering an answer to the question which is about Remediation.
If it was a previous version (Captivate Classic) I would have pointed to a blog post where I explained how to limit the eternal loop when using the default Remediation. Maybe someone can re-write this blog for the new version, if it is possible at all:
