I am trying to reuse the assets and when I click on the slide/image/icons I am not able to import and use them.
its urgent need can someone help me here?

You asked the same question in the Adobe forum for Captivate and I am trying to help you out.
For the sake of other users, meanwhile this OP has already updated to 12.3.0.12 and I suggested to clean the Preferences.
It may be just a terminology issue but I find the wording bit confusing: normally you replace a placeholder asset with an asset from the Assets library, not just import it. And slides? Do you mean copy/paste from one of the Quick Start Projects into a custom project?
