Using 12.3.012 – I have a series of knowledge check questions with some lengthy feedback audio. I’ve been testing in preview mode and in our LMS. Sometimes the audio abruptly stops without playing the whole way through. Is this linked to the slide length? Should the length of the slide be set to the audio on the slide (the question) or does it need to be longer to accommodate the feedback audio?
suzannee82290517 added an audio to the built state objects (Correct) and the audio plays till the end until you click on the empty space or Press “Y” to go to the next slide. If this does not function correctly, at your end please drop an Email to tcssup@adobe.com and we will contact you.

I’m using standard question slides (mostly multiple choice) I added audio at slide level to play the question. That works. I added the feedback audio to the in-built state objects – correct and incorrect. They play, but don’t always complete…
OK, I will need to double-check this. Since you added it to the feedback messages, which normally have a default timing, the audio clip can be cut at the end if the timing is not sufficient. If you were using Captivate Classic I could answer you immediately how to change the timing. For this version however I am not sure at all if it is even possible to change it. Do you have multiple attempts on question level? If not, I would use the Success and Failure events to play the audio clip and keep the slide paused. If I find some time I will check out if there is a possibility to edit the timing of the feedback messages.
I couldn’t find a way to change the timing. Do you leave the playbar visible during Quiz? In that case you could take out the actions ‘GO to Next slide’ from both the Success and the Last Attempt event. The slide will reemain paused in that case until the user clicks the Next button on the playbar. Normally the audio clip will play completely.
To be able to help you I need to know how you added the audio to the KC slides? Did you use the Success/failure events to trigger a Play audio command? Or did you use another way? This new version is very slow when running the first time, and audio clips are rather heavy (since you tell that it is lengthy feedback). Normally the Play audio doesn’t need to have the slide duration to be increases, but I suspect the duration of the audio clip to be the culprit. This version lost several commands which were possible in previous versions, like having ‘Delay next action….’ which could solve this immediately. Too bad. I need to know exactly how the interaction was created as well.
