Is there a way to download + install other speech agents that are more natural sounding? Noticed that there’s a murf.ai voice installer but its failing to verify my account. Are there other ways/options available for the newest version of Captivate?

I use WellSaid Labs as my prefered text to speech technology. While it’s something that can be added to Adobe Captivate directly, you can certainly download the resulting audio clips and easily import them into your Adobe Captivate slides.
