Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to create a click-to-reveal interaction with videos in the new Captivate? I’d like to have a slide that allows learners to click on each step to watch a video on how to complete that step. After watching the video, the presentation will return to the first slide so that the learner can click on the next step.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
You might find something helpful, even if not a full solution, in the Paul Wilson Captivate Teacher tutorial videos where he demos various customisations in the “all-new” Adobe Captivate playlist
Hi DaniD1013, While I can’t provide an exact solution, this video from Paul Wilson may be helpful – even just as a starting point: All-New Adobe Captivate – Custom Accordion Interaction. Maybe combined with bookmarks as per Lieve’s suggestion.
Paul Wilson posted a great tutorial on this: All-New Adobe Captivate – Custom Click to Reveal Interaction
This would be very easy in Captivate Classic, but in the new version you are stuck with the canned slide templates, both for slide video and event videos. You probably will need to do this using bookmarks to trigger navigation to the slide where the video is sitting, and use another bookmark to get back to the ‘mother’ slide. Beware: I didn’t test this out.
