Hi. I published a file as HTML, and when I go to view it, it brings up the Adobe website saying Flash isn’t available anymore. I don’t understand why I’m seeing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There have been 3 main releases under the common name CP2019: 11.0, 11.5 & 11.8. The most stable version was and is 11.5.5.553. If you want to use the most recent version 12 as well you need to install 11.8.3 for Captivate Classic, but sadly that version still has several bugs. Find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

Based on the error message you are getting, I suspect that you still have some SWF-related items in your project. Can you please check the HTML  Tracker which you find under the Project menu? It should report possible SWF related issues.

Hi deannam44974452,

Thank you for your query.

Please ensure to install latest update of Captivate 2019 (v11.8.3) by checking for updates in Captivate from Help->Check for Updates to see if it resolves the issue. In case you experience difficulties while installing the update, you may uninstall Captivate 2019, download setup of Captivate Classic form this URL, and install on the device: https://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/vipdownload.html.
