Unable to install and run Captivate

Just purchased Captivate personnel edition. Downloaded the latest Windows version 12.5 and upon installation I am getting an error message ‘AdobeCaptivate.exe – Application Error ‘The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142).

See attached screenshot. I have tried uninstalling, re-installing, making sure Windows was up to date, restarting and the rest of the typical troubleshooting procedures, all to no avail.

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.

All fixed, I had to reset Windows 11. Issue resolved.

I have the same issue on windows 10. Is it necessary to run Captivate 12.5 on windows 11?

I uninstalled captivate because it was running so slowly, re-installed windows 10 and now Captivate won’t install and I get the attached message
