Can Learning admins control/disable languages in content and interface?
Hi everyone, we’re anticipating our transition to Adobe LM. We noticed that Adobe LM has 33 language for content and translation, and 18 for user interface, does the learning admin can disable or activate some of the 33 languages? Or is the 33 languages automatically activated?
Thank you so much!

Hi Samsamonte ,
Greetings and thank you for reaching out!
By default, the languages will be automatically available to use as and when required. There is no activation/deactivation mechanism for language, both interface and content.

Hi Madonna,
Thank you for your guidance. I have a follow up question. If that’s the case, out of the languages available from Adobe, we have a few missing language that we support and we also have languages that we don’t use. My questions are:
- Is there a way for us to request to add a few more languages?
- For the languages that we don’t support, will it be alright if our does not create a version of those languages? I hope it will not interfere with our existing list of content.
Thank you so much!
Hi Samsamonte ,
1. Though we only have the languages listed as in the doc available for now, you can always raise an enhancement request with your Customer Success Manager or learningmanagersupport@adobe.com for the new feature request. Please include the business requirement for the request.
2. Yes—You can ignore the languages that you don’t want to include. It is not mandatory to use all the available locales. You can pick as per your requirement.
Hope that helps.
Best Regards,
Madonna James
