Unable to Publish
Hello,
I’m a new user and created my first project in Captivate (v12), but I’m unable to publish it to an internal SharePoint Online site or Wiki page. So far, I have published it to my desktop as follows:
Publish as HTML
Project Title (XYZ for example)
Location C:UsersabcdefDownloads (abcdef for example)
I published my Captivate project as HTML, with the project title set to “XYZ” and saved it to C:UsersabcdefDownloads
. After publishing, I extracted the ZIP file locally and uploaded the entire extracted folder to our SharePoint site. While the upload appears successful, opening the main HTML file (index.html
) doesn’t load the course content. I suspect I’m missing a step or configuration.
I’ve submitted a ticket with our internal SharePoint Online support team, but any additional guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kimberly,
Thank you for contacting Adobe!
Please refer to this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/captivate/kb/upload-captivate-published-output-sharepoint.html. Also make sure that your SharePoint server is configured to serve JSON files as all current version Captivate HTML5 output now uses JSON.
Thanks,
Adobe Support
