I need help with shapes on adobe captivate 13

I want to add shape into the cards to add text, not the default one that comes with these cards. I want to do something like this. Please let me know how to add shape for text. Below is my slide and under that is the reference slide of how I want the text to be.

That’s a good suggestion from the previous comment, and it’s definitely the first thing to try. In the new Adobe Captivate, you can insert shapes from the toolbar and place them over your card to simulate a custom text background, then format the text inside as needed. However, it’s important to note that cards in the all‑new Captivate are part of predefined content blocks, so they don’t offer the same level of freeform customization you might remember from Classic. Because of that, shapes don’t always integrate perfectly inside a card structure and may behave more like overlay elements rather than true components of the card. If you’re aiming for a layout like your reference slide, a more flexible approach is to move away from the default card block and instead build that section using separate blocks or a custom slide layout. For example, you can combine an image block with a text block and overlay shapes where needed, which gives you more control over positioning and styling. This takes a bit more setup, but it avoids the limitations of the card component and lets you match your design more closely.

In Adobe Captivate 13, you can add your own text shapes by using Smart Shapes. Select a shape from the toolbar, place it over your card, adjust the size, and then double‑click inside to type and format your text. This approach lets you control how the text looks and where it sits, instead of being limited to the default card fields.
