[Recording] Learn to create a multi-module branched course by Kirsten Rourke

In this session, Kirsten Rourke will introduce two examples of branching content. She will cover a simple way to make basic branching and how to use Adobe Captivate’s advanced features to create custom experiences.

The session will also include course planning, resources, and best practices for designing branching content with user-driven navigation.

[Recording] Rapidly create compliance training using out-of-box assets

As eLearning professionals, we often find ourselves tasked with creating eLearning courses on some mundane topics which relate to informing employees about the company policies, regulations, and laws, and we find it challenging to make it engaging for the learners. Adobe Captivate (2019 release) has a magic solution for you!

Join Dr. Pooja Jaisingh, Senior Learning Evangelist, for a step-by-step demonstration on how you can create interactive and engaging eLearning courses for your compliance training requirements.

During this session you will learn:
How to use the free eLearning assets and quick start projects to easily convert your storyboard to a complete eLearning course, all with automatic branching and forced navigation implemented.

[Recording] Learn to create and use interactive videos in Captivate

Videos are the best and easiest way to learn about new content and skills. But they are inherently passive, with no opportunity for learners to interact with the content. You will see a demonstration of how to convert informational slides, interactions, and knowledge check questions to overlay slides and add them at designated spots in the video. You will also learn how to add bookmarks in the video to enable remediation during the training. Along the way, learn about best practices for using videos effectively in eLearning courses.

[Recording] Building scenario-based eLearning using Templates

Scenario-based learning is a proven effective method for learning using complex real-life situations. However, the effort and technology to develop scenarios have often appeared to be too complex, expensive, and time-consuming. Today though, authoring tools have advanced to make designing and developing robust scenarios to be easier and more efficient than ever before.

[Recording] Create an Accessible eLearning course by Anita Horsley

Creating accessible online courses provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to learn successfully. Additionally, developing compliant courses reach a larger more inclusive audience, and it can be a legal issue. In the US, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires that government and educational organizations make learning accessible (including eLearning). eLearning developers need to take into consideration creating eLearning that is accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, physically disabled, and developmentally disabled.
