When trying to install Adobe Presenter 8 after uninstalling the previous version, if you still get an error that ‘Previous version of Presenter is already installed,’ follow these steps to resolve the issue.

For 32-bit Windows machine:

  1. Download this file and save it on your desktop.
  2. Rename the file as Pr7_32Bit.reg. Make sure the extension is changed from TXT to REG.
  3. Double-click the Pr7_32Bit.reg file.
  4. You’ll get a few alerts. Click OK and Yes to confirm.
  5. Now install Adobe Presenter 8 to your system.

For 64-bit Windows machine:

  1. Download this file and save it on your desktop.
  2. Rename the file as Pr7_64Bit.reg. Make sure the extension is changed from TXT to REG.
  3. Double-click the Pr7_64Bit.reg file.
  4. You’ll get a few alerts. Click OK and Yes to confirm.
  5. Now install Adobe Presenter 8 to your system.

If you still face any installation issues, please leave a comment here and we will help you resolve it.

Each of the links provided above take me to a page about PDF services.

There doesn’t seem to be a file, for either a 32Bit or 64Bit system, that can be downloaded.

This solution did not work for me. I downloaded the 64-bit file and am still getting message saying software is for 32-bit and my computer is a 64-bit Windows machine.

I am using Adobe Presenter 8 and I am trying to sync animation with audio and when I click on sync it will only allow me to sync a script — there is no button that will allow me to sync my *On Click* animations. It shows the number of Animations after I imported the audio into presenter… I know that this isn’t the right place for this — But I am trying to get my project on track. I don’t want to lose all the animation work.

Thanks
