Topic: Badges, Levels, Leaderboards, Accolades! Gamifying the learning experience

Description:

Learning can be made fun, and learners can be kept engaged for longer, by applying game-design thinking to non-game applications. These gamification techniques aim to tap into learners’ basic desires such as competition, achievement, rewards and status, which drives deeper engagement, higher completion rates and stronger results.

Join Dr. Pooja Jaisingh and Ashish Garg, in this fun session, as they take you through the basics in applying game-design to a learning paradigm. They will also cover different examples of gamification scenarios and its impact on learner motivation, engagement and achievement.

Thanks, Pooja. Yes, it’s working now. The link was taking me to somewhere weird. Now I just need to know where I can find config.xml in Captivate 9 app packaging: any ideas? I’ve drawn a blank on the forum.

Hi Neil,

If you refer to the phoneGap app, you can find the corresponding file in the installation folder at the following location
C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Captivate 9
