primeYou may well have heard about Adobe’s new Learning Management System (LMS) – Adobe Captivate Prime. Prime is incredibly simple to use, and it’s fun to sign up for a free trial and easy to add courses, even get started sharing your courses with learners.

In a live demo of Captivate Prime this week, I included a number

of such mini-lessons as I walked through each of the basics you might use when getting started with Adobe Captivate Prime. You can find the recording of that eSeminar here.

The eSeminar covered several topics with demonstrations of how to do them in Adobe Captivate Prime. Those included: Gamification elements, badges, learning plans, certifications, and learning programs. I also highlighted the unique learner experience and the different reporting and tracking options.

However, if it’s your first time working with your company’s HR database, or your first time to put the personnel data into an LMS, I thought you might like to have a quick video tutorial that explains the process and gives you a detailed introduction to how HR data is integrated into Captivate Prime. In this video I explain the process in detail, and introduce you to some simple options that you might find useful as you explore Adobe Captivate Prime.

It is also possible that you might want to allow learners to self-enroll, or to support enrollment of external learners (people who are not part of your normal organizational structure.) To ease that process I’ve created a short video to guide you through these processes as well. You’ll also find a short description in this video of the process used to create catalogs specific to a group of users.

As always, please share your thoughts and questions in the section below.
