Buttons are a key part of almost every eLearning course. They help our users navigate, they can trigger variables, and they control actions. In other words, they add interaction to the courses we create. Adobe has done a great job of adding a plethora of buttons from which to choose, but sometimes you want something that isn’t available. So we at eLearning Brothers have begun creating button sets that can be used in any of our templates or in your own course. The first 5 sets we’ve created offer you a few more options when it comes to buttoning up your eLearning course development.
Let’s take a look at each of them.
Chrome
This button set, with it’s silvery, bubble-like appearance offers a sleek set of 26 buttons with a range of pre-configured options as well as a couple of blank buttons that can be configured to suit your needs. It comes with the Dosis font files so you can make your buttons match simply by installing the font on your system.
Sunset
The Sunset buttons, using the Montserrat font, provide you a bright orange, cheery look and feel for your eLearning course design. This set of 24 buttons also comes with two blank buttons that can be configured for your needs. As with all our button sets, the graphic and font files are included so, if you are so inclined, you can open them in Adobe Illustrator and alter them however you see fit.
Gummy
Using a lime green color scheme, mixed with the space age Orbitron font, the Gummy button set gives you 25 buttons, including two blanks, the graphics files and the font files. In other words everything you might need to really give your eLearning course that out-of-this-world look and feel.
Teach
This set of 25 two-tone blue buttons, created using the Lato and Tinos fonts, provides the sleek, flat look that is so popular these days. These would be a great addition to any course with a complementary color scheme.
Deep
With a seafoam green gradient and the Lato font, the 25 Deep buttons are great for bringing a whimsical, yet professional feel to all your eLearning course development.
These 5 button sets are just the beginning, we’ll be releasing several more in the weeks to come. All of our button sets can be found in the Get Free eLearning Assets tab of your Captivate 9.0.2 assets portal.
The buttons download as a responsive .cptx file containing Normal, Rollover (Hover), and Down states for each button.
If you haven’t yet upgraded to the latest version of Captivate, make sure to download it and start using some of the awesome features that Adobe and eLearning Brothers have provided for you. If you have troubles loading the assets (some of our users have), take a look at this blog that explains how to troubleshoot.
