  1. Install Adobe Captivate Reviewer
  2. Open the CREV file using Adobe Captivate Reviewer
  3. Add comments to the SWF file

I will say this is horrible. How can Adobe not have a Reviewer like Articulate Storyline, with Storyline you just publish to the web, send a link to SME/reviewers, they leave their comments and your done.

No downloading and installing software, and word docs with their comments etc.

Come on Adobe!!!

This does NOT work for responsive projects.  I did try this and it just shows a blank screen in the reviewer.  This is for CREV and zip files.  Responsive projects are published as HTML 5 which means a person with a browser may be able to see it but there is no review capability.  Responsive projects cannot be published as SWF.  I am using Reviewer version 7

Antje – I am having the same issue.  I need to let them preview the file without the reviewer and without flash!

Is there any other possibility by now in version 2019? Due to a very restrictive policy, my clients are not allowed to install any software on their computers but I would still like them to be able to view the project (and give feedback) without me having to make time to show them om my laptop while sitting next to them.

I second this notion!  The only way I know how so far is to publish my HTML 5 to a shared folder and have the reviewers note the slide but you have to ensure either the slide has a unique and visible name or that a slide number is visible.
