Rollover Captions, Rollover Images, and Rollover Slidelets are not supported in a Fluid Box.

The Suggest Fluid Boxes workflow also ignores grouped objects.

For example, let there be a group of three objects in a slide. Also, insert a smart shape as a button and assign an advanced action to the button that applies an effect to the group.

If you click Suggest Fluid Box, you can see that the Fluid Box ignores the group. So, a group of objects can never be a part of a Fluid Box.

You cannot time objects for the rest of the project neither.

I am a fan of grouping objects myself – I use this frequently.

Why can grouped objects never be in a fluid box? As long as the objects are all within the same box, I don’t see why it can’t be. This is enough to make me stop wanting to use fluid boxes. I use groups all the time! Now I have to revert to the Dark Ages when groups were not permitted?

Anonymous, really?
My suspicion: group is on a second level above the individual objects and fluid boxes are strictly two-dimensional. They should have allowed groups in static fluid boxes IMO.

I thought that more objects were not supported in a Normal, not a Static FLuid box: Zoom object, Mouse object, Highlight Box and Click box (see Help). Also not supported, but not mentioned in the Help: Line Shape.
