I’m currently creating Captivate learning modules that include video demonstrations. I’m reminded of the value of breaking down learning into brief episodes to help the learner advance a little at a time from a progressive base of knowledge. Here’s a video demonstration of the value of progressive learning to support the learner and what they currently know and what they are trying to learn.

John,

That is a very nice demonstration. I love the use of graphics and animation here. Kept my attention for sure! I particularly like how you demonstrated the comfort zone vs the panic zone! Great job!

Hey John,

This is awesome. Really like the homage to the “Twightlight Zone. Really creative storytelling wrapped in a fairly dense topic. Nicely done. Did you do this in Animate or After Affects?

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve, thank you for the feedback. The animation was done in Go Animate. The software has some animation loops such as walk cycles that make it a step faster than After Effects or Premiere for motion graphics. Go Animate also has a library of objects and characters that also reduce the production time. Having spent time with the animation tools, Any choice for animation or motion graphics is an investment in time, so I’m learning to use those choices for very select demonstrations with content that will not require frequent updates.
