I’ve been pondering on the idea of whether universities would be interested in having someone from the eLearning industry come in and talk about online training, and how it can help professions like teaching. I think students on teaching degrees would be the most relevant audience, but also for the course lecturers as well. I know I need to get in touch with the universities to find out, but was wondering if anyone has done this before? I was thinking of showing them how quickly a course can be made by the teachers themselves using something like Captivate and how it can help engage their students.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

You can share students and educators receive a discount on purchasing the Captivate authoring tool.

It’s a good idea and getting the universities on board would be a huge boost. Instructors are always looking for new and creative ways to engage the student body so why not give it a shot?

I think this would be a cool idea because the human beings which work in universities probably don’t know about the possibilities in e learning and communicating with their students. Otherwise I think the most teachers want their students to learn with paper and pencil like they did. But just try and ask!

Thanks Gabriel. Definitely agree with you. Going to start getting in touch with them and see how it goes. Would love to show them the possibilities of what can be done.
