My kids want to use Adobe Captivate for their project at the school. How can I get it for free?
Mohamed,
Check out the following page which provides you a path that each student could take to get anywhere from 3 months of complimentary license usage right up to 12 months.

All that is required is to have each student create an Adobe ID, and contribute to the Adobe eLearning Community. In exchange for their contributions Shambu Nashi would reward them with points that can be redeemed for complimentary licenses. For example, if one of your students downloaded the 30 day trial, they could write about their experience learning Adobe Captivate and blog here at the Adobe eLearning Community. a blog post and a testimonial would be enough to convert that trial to a three month complimentary copy with all the features of the full version.
Great tip thanks Paul. I understand that the licence codes are sent out on a quarterly basis, not immediately the points level is achieved? From your experience, please tell us (1) when these happy days are? Is March31 one of them? (2) The paid subscription is an annual commitment with a cancellation penalty. So what happens if you’re on a free 3-month licence when you are already a paid subscriber? Does it get added to the end? If not, for some people, they will still be charged some penalty? thanks.
This program is completely seperate from the paid program. You will receive a licence (activation code) that is good for three, six, or twelve months. My advice is to continue to participate in contributing to the community. That way when the time comes you will just receive the new activation code. I contribute so much that I always get a twelve month code. I haven’t paid anything for Captivate since version 9. I don’t know the dates these quarters start and end on. Once you receive your first email, save the email so you know who to follow up with in case you need your activation codes when your previous license is about to expire.
