How do I embed eLearning Brothers content into Captivates My Assets

I have downloaded some characters from the ‘Get Free eLearning Assets’ area of Captivate. Is there a way for me to include these downloaded characters under the ‘My Asset’s -> Character section?

For example, under My Assets -> Characters I choose a category type then click a person. From there I see all the different poses and if I want a Close Up, Half or Full pose.

I want to be able to do the same with the eLearning Brothers characters that i downloaded.  Otherwise I have to insert the image and then crop for a Close Up or Half pose. I think it is a limiting function if this cannot be achieved.

Assistance or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Maree

eLearning Bros Characters should download automatically into the following folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets\Characters_10_0\Assets\Assets\

Characters that appear there should be visible in Captivate’s Media/Character selection.

I have noticed that some of my characters aren’t appearing there. This appears to have been because they were characters created for Captivate 9 or 8. So I recommend you do a little exploring.

Open Windows Explorer, find that location I pasted earlier, then back out of that to the eLearning Assets folder. Is there a “Characters_9_0” folder? “Characters_8_0”? Check them out; see who’s hiding in there.

Hi Maree,
If the original image has a close up, half or full pose versions you will see option to download it from free e-learning assets directly else there is no explicit functionality to do it.
