I would say No, but cannot test it out because I no longer have CP8. Do you want to publish to SWF or to HTML?

I see. However, could you please tell me if Captivate 8 compatible with Edge or not? A customer still has Captivate 8 and we would probably need to develop using this version.

Hi Kate,

For best compatibility with latest browsers, Chrome, Edge, IE, we always recommend using the latest version of Adobe Captivate. Captivate 8 was compatible with Win7 and 8.1 at that time MS Edge was not there.

Adobe Captivate 2017 is compatible with all modern browsers. You may check more detail in the link: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/system-requirements.html
