Captivate 2017 Freezing

I am trying to complete a project and every 30 minutes it freezes and tells me it isn’t responding. This is quite frustrating. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Which version do you use and which OS? I can only help with Win versions.
Is this a new installation of Captivate, or did you have a previous version? Do you Run Captivate as Administrator? Try to clear the cache regularly (Preferences has a button), because it grows quickly. You can also try to Clean the Preferences. I can tell you later how after you answered my questions.
