Print Handouts – Slide Notes are missing

I upgraded to Captivate 2017 recently and I now have a problem that I can’t for the life of me figure out what is going on. I need a printout that includes the slide notes. Each of my training modules have voice overs. I include the voice over text in “notes”, this way I can print out a hand out, and folks can read the script of the module. With this upgraded version though, I cannot for the life of me figure out why most of the notes are missing from the printout! Below is a screenshot of what I have selected when I choose to print this out, as well as screenshots of word and captivate side by side comparisons. In one screenshot, you can see the notes show up in word, in another screenshot you see they don’t.

Please help!

Hi, Can you please try to locate the OPM.db file in the \Users\\AppData (hidden folder)\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder and rename it to OPM_old.db. Now, try to launch Creative Cloud Desktop Application and sign in with your Adobe Id and install the update if it prompts. Now, you may again try to launch Captivate 2017 and go to help menu-> Updates and see if it gives you the option to install the Captivate 10.0.1 update. If still it doesn't give you the option to update Captivate 2017, then I would suggest you to try to uninstall and download Captivate 2017 from our website (https://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/download-trial/try.html) and re-install it and then try to update to the latest patch 10.0.1.285. Also, if possible, please try to get the administrative rights from your internal IT admin for a time being and then try to launch Captivate in administrative mode and try to print handouts and see if that makes any difference because it will help us in diagnose the issue.

Hi Ajit, I am using windows 10, and the version I am using is Adobe Captivate 2017 Release 10.0.0.192. I went in to click on the updates option, but it says "your applications are all up to date as check: Less than a minute ago". I looked to see what is checked, and all selections are checked. I am unable to launch in administrative mode tho, as this computer is governed by IT department. So this begs the question, why is my update number different from yours?
