How do I track the amount of time in a course without an LMS? Users need to spend a minimum amount of time in course.

Not the first time I hear the same comment but I really appreciate it. Thanks! Many users do not ant to read however, some even told me bluntly that they only watch videos. Wonder how you can explain in-depth concepts in a video, and if they also create eLearning without any text?
What do you want to happen when they want to exit the course before the minimum time is reached? I did create such a situation for a client. A warning popped up when the required time was not reached. It is possible but you have to be very familiar with variables and advanced actions. It is not for newbies.

No, I didn’t. Have learned from this portal that I have to be careful with blogging about creative, complicated solutions. Lot is stolen by other ‘experts’ without any ethics, proclaiming they found the workflow. It is not correct, and has made me reluctant to share. Sorry for the good-intentioned Captivate users.
