Automatically Advancing Slides at the End of Web Object Videos?

Using Captivate 2017, I would like to be able to automatically advance between slides after a user has watched a video within my course. I understand that this is possible through the deployment of a standard Captivate Video Object, however it does not seem that I can use those objects to deploy videos that are hosted on my Learning Management System. Instead, I have to deploy the video as a Web Object.

I’ve played around with all the surface-level options to try making this happen, and it seems like the only way to do it would be to set the timing of a slide to match the length of the video. The issue with that is that these videos are fairly long and information-dense, and users need to have the ability to scrub through them. I’m assuming that any scrubbing would result in the slide automatically advancing before one can finish watching the entire video.

After some fruitless searching through the forums and software documentation, I’m wondering if any of you more experienced Captivate users might have a solution. I’m assuming it would need to involve Advanced Actions, if anything, but I’m not sure what sorts of variables that the Web Objects report.

Thanks!

AFAIK there are no system variables reporting anything about a web object. You can have a look at this older blog post which has a free table explaining all system variables:

I suspect you’ll have to use a JS script. DId you check all articles about using JS?
