Captivate 2017: Exit pop-up advanced action implementation on the entire project

Hello,

I have created a responsive project in Captivate 2017 without using the default skin. I have added advanced action on the exit button to pop-up a confirmation dialogue box on which the course exits. However, I cannot duplicate this action by copying the exit button on every screen. Is there any method by which i can implement this globally through out the course?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your response. To answer your queries:
1. This project is developed in Fluid boxes
2. I cannot share the file as it is client material
3. The exit pop up box has two buttons, yes and no. On clicking yes the course exits and and clicking no the pop up box disappears.
4. I have not placed the button on master slide. I will try implementing your solution using the master slide.

I never ask for a file, I asked to show a screenshot of the advanced action used to trigger the popup.
Since that popup has 3 items, where probably the buttons are stacked on the box, you were not able to use a normal fluid box which doesn’t allow stacking. How did you fix that problem?
Moreover you cannot group items in a fluid box. Another reason why I insist to show the advanced action. Use the Preview button in the Advanced Actions dialog box.
Another limitation for fluid boxes is than you cannot time objects for the rest of the project. I am afraid that the solution for a button on the master slide will not work in that case, since you will have to put the popup box on each slide. There are a lot of limitations in the Fluid Boxes workflow, most users are not aware of them.

There is some information lacking to give a complete answer. You talk about a responsive project, in CP2017: was this developed with Fluid Boxes or with Breakpoints?
Moreover I would have liked to see the advanced action triggered by the Exit button. Since you talk about a popup that has a confirmation dialogue box: does this box have any interactive object or is it just popping up for a small delay after which the exit occurs? This is important as well.
My answer will not be complete because of this lack of info.
The ‘button’ needs to be a shape button, which can be used on the main master slide and will then appear on each slide using a daughter master slide that is using the main master slide objects (another question I should ask about).
However the popup dialog box (supposing it is only one item) that has to be hidden/shown needs an ID. You cannot have it on a master slide in that case, but it has to be on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project, always on top. If you are using Fluid Boxes, be careful because you cannot stack that dialogue box on top of any other object.
