Inbuilt result page ‘Retake Button’ hide

Hi,

I have created the two set of assessment with branching option from inbuilt quiz from Captivate 9.

And I have enabled the ‘Retake Button’ for result page from publish settings.

When user fails the test, the retake button will be shown – that’s perfect and working fine as expected.

But when user pass the test, the retake button should be hide. It’s not hiding after passing the test.

Could you please help with this?? How to hide the ‘Retake Button’ after user passes the test.

Thank you.

Will see if I can find a moment to test this out. Of course you cannot find anything about it in the documentation. I wrote a blog post once about Branch Aware, for an older version. Which version do you use? If I have the same will test it on that version.

Hi Lieve

Good morning 🙂

I’m using captivate 9 version. If we use one set of assessment with retake quiz option, it will work fine. Here I have created two set of assessment and user has to take either of the assessment. It is working for the second set of assessment because it is considering with only second set of quiz.

If I take quiz with first set, after passing the questions I can still see the ‘Retake Button’ in the result page.

I guess it doesn’t consider for the branching option (two assessments).

Let me wait for some more inputs from you.

Thanks

I only have 9.0.2.437. Is that the same version?

It should be hidden after passing. You talk about Branching, did you enable the Branch aware functionality in Quiz Preferences?

Hi Lieve,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I have enabled the branching aware option from the publish settings.

User have to take either of the assessment from the two set of assessment. If user takes, one set of assessment then the course should be shown completed in the LMS. It is happening but only problem with the retake button. If user pass the quiz, it should hide but it’s not happening. Please need your input on this.

Thank you,
