Hello,

while having used Captivate for a while now, I feel I am still a novice, and there are some advanced functions that I still have not mastered – and that is my current situation, so please excuse the lack of correct terminology as I try to explain my problem.

A contractor has built our module for us, and provided the file so I can edit and keep it current, but with this particular slide, there is a menu with buttons to reveal new information on the slide – but I cannot reveal them in the cptx version so I can edit the content.

Is someone able to advise me what I need to do?  I have attached the slide to assist.Where are the layers

Many thanks in advance,

Lauren

Could you figure it out? Did you find the Object State panel?

Wanted to help, but just see that it is recommended to contact the staff.
They set up a multistate object. Click on the box and use the button ‘State View’ in the Properties panel.
My bad, you should have contacted staff…..

Hello, for this kind of queries I would always recommend connecting with our support representative at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html .

In your project, please look for SmartShape “SmartShape_667”. This SmartShape has multiple states. Please go to “State View” for this object and you will find your content for editing. Hope it helps.
