All thanks to Adobe Captivate, we can now import 360⁰ images and create seamless virtual reality projects. It has now become handy to create immersive learning experiences. Learners can experience virtual reality and engage more attention towards the training.

By using this feature, we can add 360⁰ images and videos and convert them into interactive eLearning content with overlay interactions like information icons, audio content and quizzes. We just need to drag and drop them on the 360⁰ image and we have the interaction ready! Thus, we can make the learners explore and actively engage them with learning environment to enhance retention. This is one of the ways to make complex learning simpler.

Live Device Preview

We can now exactly see what the learners are going to experience on VR devices by using Live Device Preview option. Upon clicking the option, the tool generates a QR Code that can be scanned even using a mobile phone. Once the connection is set up, the course can be previewed easily as long as the Adobe Captivate session is active.

Fluid Boxes

This is an upgraded feature in 2019 release of Adobe Captivate. With this advancement, the content slides scale up automatically across devices. The Fluid Boxes have a wrap-up options in the properties using which we can set alignment for static fluid boxes. There are also pre-defined fluid boxes in responsive theme which uses intuitive UI to control and customize the fluid boxes.

Interactive Videos with Overlay Slides

With this feature you can convert the videos into interactive video. Add a quiz or a knowledge check at specific areas in the video and evaluate the user performance by inserting overlay slides. The overlay slides add a new dimension of interactivity. This also enables the user to bookmark the slide on the timeline so that learner can be automatically redirected if they fail to complete the activity.

PowerPoint to Mobile Learning

Converting PowerPoint to mobile learning has never been so easy with this new feature in Captivate 2019. With just a few clicks we can transform static PowerPoint slides to mobile learning content. There also an additional feature of customizing the PowerPoint once the slides have been imported. Enhancements to the course can be done by adding interactive elements, assets and quizzes.
