Adobe Captivate: 360 photos but in INSP file – what next?

Hello,

I’m a newbie to 360 photos. I took a photo with my Insta360 and now I can’t figure out what needs to be done in order to convert the INSP files into a format that lets me import the image into my virtual reality project. Any tips?

Thanks for your replies, I downloaded the software for the One X camera and got the photo up!

However, when I tried with a video, I can’t get the preview to show. All I see is white. The file is huge, though, so I’m guessing I’ll need to try smaller.

Yes, please try with smaller video, or cut the video in clips which you distribute over different slides. Have a look at my blog post about the Timeline in 360 slides (photo and video):

Inst360 Studio – 360 editing software is available free for windows and mac on insta360.com.  It makes it very easy to convert your file to a jpeg that can be imported into Captivate.

Sure it is a photo, not a video?  You will have to convert it to jpeg (photo) or mp4 (video). There are several converters to be found. Have a look at this:
