Hi,

How do I delete projects in the RECENT tab?  Is that TAB called a DATA FOLDER?

If you navigate in Windows Explorer to those locations and either delete the CPTX files from their locations on your computer or simply relocate them to another location they will no longer appear in your recent tab.

Do  you talk about the Welcome screen? Or about File, Open, Recent?AFAIK you cannot delete them, why do you need that?I see tags like workspace, custom workspace but that term means something totally different. When you open Captivate in Newbie mode (which is default after installing) you have only one fixed workspace ‘Classic’ which cannot be change by the developer. To have custom workspaces, floating panels, ability to move panels to different docks you need to switch to Expert UI.

Terminology is often a problem. Why is he presence of recent project thumbnails bothering you? Because I believe you talk about the welcome screen and those thumbnails. If you clean the Preferences, you’ll get rid of them.

Clearing the Preferences can be done by looking for the subfolder ‘utils’ under the installation folder of Captivate. Run the file ClearPreferences…. which is corresponding wit your OS. This has to be done when Captivate is closed. Beware: you need administrator rights. When you restart CP, the thumbnails of recent projects will be gone.
